La Zagaleta Golf and Country Club, Benahavis
La Zagaleta Golf and Country Club or La Zagaleta as most people refer to it, is located in Benahavis on the road to Ronda and a short drive to the coast and places such as Marbella, Puerto Banus and Estepona.
It is one of the most exclusive communities to live in, in Europe due to its tranquility, very high level of security, views, the natural environment, services and of course the weather on the Costa del Sol.
The clubhouse of over 5.000 m2 offers a range of services such as meeting lounges, restaurants, bar, barbecue area, library, party pavilion, disco, billiard room, bowling, swimming pool, sauna and a pro-shop. The kitchen is top-quality both regional and international.
The equestrian centre is for the exclusive use of members and residents. For both horses from residents and from La Zagaleta there are 23 stables and 4 rings available. There is a wide variety of horses available for those who want to explore the nature of La Zagaleta on horseback. An instructor is available.
Also only for members and residents are two 18 hole golf courses, La Zagaleta which opened in 1993 and Los Barancos, a par 70 course that opened in 2005.
